Poursuivi pour diffamation par Abdoul Mbaye, Madiambal Diagne administrateur du groupe avenir communication a été attrait hier devant la barre du tribunal correctionnel.

La défense de l’ex-Premier ministre réclame 100 millions au journaliste à titre de dommages et intérêts, rapporte le journal Enquête.

En effet, Madiambal avait traité Abdoul Mbaye de « menteur invétéré qui a besoin d’un psychiatre ».

Le président de l’Alliance pour la citoyenneté et le travail qui soutenait en avoir assez de ses attaques par voie de presse, avait déposé une plainte contre lui et son journal Le Quotidien.

En effet, Madiambal Diagne accusait l’ancien Premier ministre d’avoir blanchi l’argent de Hissène Habré.

Le délibéré est fixé au 12 décembre prochain.
