«Aujourd’hui, nous constatons avec beaucoup d’amertume que les importations d’huile végétale inondent le marché local et nous inflige un manque à gagner de 7 milliards, dénonce-t-il. Nous en voulons pour preuve de cette mévente constatée dans nos entrepôts à Dakar. Nous avons 7 milliards de stock d’huile d’arachide raffinée invendue. Ça, c’est catastrophique.»
Face à cette situation, Aw déplore le «laxisme avéré de nos gouvernants. Il faut le reconnaître parce que jusqu’à aujourd’hui des autorisations d’importations sont délivrées. Le protocole signé avec le ministre (Commerce) n’est pas respecté et tout cela sous l’œil impassible du Comité de suivi et de veille que le ministre du Commerce a bien voulu mettre en place».
«Dans deux mois, prévient-il, c’est le démarrage de la campagne de collecte des graines. Si la Sonacos, aujourd’hui, n’arrive pas écouler ses produits finis, son stock de 7 milliards, l’usine entrera difficilement dans cette campagne (arachidière). Donc, il y a un danger réel qui pèse sur la tête des paysans, des travailleurs.»
