« C’est par irrespect qu’on ose implanter ce genre d’usine dans notre quartier. Tout ce que nous voulons, c’est qu’ils dégagent », fulmine Maguette Wade, dans les colonnes du journal Le Quotidien qui donne l’information.
« C’est une usine qui a été installée de manière sournoise à 10 mètres des maisons. Les démarches entreprises ne nous ont pas rassurés et les dangers d’une cohabitation sont réels. S’ils avaient suivi la procédure normale, il ne pourrait pas y avoir une autorisation d’implantation », renchérit Dr Bakary Amdy Diouf, porte-parole du collectif.
En attendant la réaction des autorités qui ont autorisé Colas à s’implanter dans ce quartier de Rufisque Est, les populations veillent au grain, prêtes à tout pour préserver leur environnement.
