Le Gamou ou la célébration de l’anniversaire de la naissance du prophète est célébré au Sénégal dans de nombreux foyers religieux dans la nuit de ce dimanche 11 au lundi 12 décembre.
Les principaux pôle d’attraction sont Tivaouane, Kaolack, Thiénaba…. Au-delà, cet événement de grande envergure sera aussi célébré dans toutes les localités du pays.
La ville de Serigne El hadj Malick Sy, fondateur de la confrérie Tidiane de Tivaouane, à l’instar de nombreux foyers, qui a déjà fini de faire le plein, est fin-prête à célébrer la naissance du prophète. Des millions de fidèles y sont attendus autour de la famille de Maodo Malick Sy représentée par Abdoul Aziz Al Amine, Serigne Mbaye Mansour et Serigne Moustapha Sy, responsable moral du mouvement des Moustarchidines.
Il en est de même pour Médina Baye à Kaolack, foyer de Mawlana Cheikh Ibrahima Nias, avec ses milliers de fidèles venus des quatre coins du monde. Le président de la République, Macky Sall, y a inauguré ce samedi la maison des hôtes de la cité religieuse de Médina Baye.
La confrérie Tidjiane de Thiénaba n’est pas en reste non plus. Elle va commémorer l’anniversaire de la naissance du Prophète (psl). Cette grande localité a été fondée par Amary Ndack Seck. D’ailleurs, le chef de l’Etat a rendu visite samedi au khalife de cette localité, Serigne Cheikh Ahmed Tidiane Seck, en prélude à la célébration du Mawlid.
Dans toutes ces villes religieuses du Sénégal, Prières pour la résolutions des problèmes, et louanges dédiées aux Prophètes (Psl) et aux fondateurs de ces confréries rythmeront l’activité des fidèles…
