L’Etat du Sénégal a signé avec le Fonds de l’Organisation des pays exportateurs de pétrole (OFID) deux accords de financement d’un montant global de 21, 7 milliards de francs Cfa destinés à la mise en œuvre de programmes de développement.
Ces deux accords ont été notamment signés en marge des Assemblées générales annuelles du Fonds monétaire international par le ministre sénégalais de l’Economie, du Plan et de la Coopération, Amadou Hott, et le directeur général du Fonds de l’OPEP, Abdulhamid Alkhalifa.
Ils portent notamment sur la mise en œuvre du Programme d’appui au développement agricole et à l’entrepreneuriat (PADAER) pour un montant de 9, 9 milliards de francs et Projet de désenclavement des zones de productions en appui au programme national de développement rural (PDZP/PNDL) pour 11, 8 milliards de francs.
PADAER (deuxième phase) a pour objectif de contribuer à la réduction de la pauvreté dans les zones d’interventions du programme à travers le développement de la chaine de valeur profitables et diversifiées, précise la même source.
Il intervient dans les quatre zones agro-écologiques à savoir la Vallée du Fleuve Sénégal, la Zone Sylvopastorale, le Sénégal Oriental et la Haute Casamance couvrant ainsi les régions de Matam, Tambacounda, Kédougou et Kolda, précise-t-on.
Le PDZL/PNDL dont le financement a atteint 11, 8 milliards de francs pour finalité de contribuer à la réduction de la pauvreté à travers l’action combinée des départements ministériels, des collectivités territoriales, des communautés de base et du secteur privé, rapporte le communiqué.
Il s’agit de promouvoir, de façon efficace, efficiente et durable, l’offre de services socio-économiques de base aux populations dans les communes et collectivités territoriales les plus pauvres du Sénégal, ajoute la source.
