Selon un communiqué, le Poste des Douanes de Mpack (Ziguinchor), a saisi dimanche 25900 paquets de 100 comprimés de storpack (famille du paracétamol), prés de la frontière avec la Guinée Bissau.
La même source ajoute que les faux médicaments étaient dissimulés dans des cachettes aménagées d’un véhicule frigorifique qui revenait au Sénégal après une livraison de poisson à Bissau.
La valeur totale de ces médicaments est estimée à 72 875 000 de francs CFA.
Le communiqué rappelle que mercredi, 3000 boites de viagra (un aphrodisiaque) et des centaines de boites de Corhinza ont été saisies par la Brigade mobile des Douanes de Nioro (Kaolack).
La marchandise a été interceptée sur une moto à la suite d’une embuscade à la hauteur de la localité de Samba Nonsan, selon la même source, précisant que la valeur totale des médicaments saisis dans cette opération est estimée à 18 000 000 de francs CFA.
