Du côté ougandais, on s’emploie également à rassurer la clientèle. « Nos ingénieurs travaillent pour identifier et résoudre l’attelage, afin de rétablir un approvisionnement électrique normal », a déclaré dans un communiqué la Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited.
En janvier 2018, les deux pays ont subi des pannes importantes en raison de ce qu’ils avaient qualifié de perturbations du système.
