D’autres suspects sont actuellement recherchés par les enquêteurs, selon la même source, après la découverte lundi des corps de deux touristes, une Danoise et une Norvégienne, à 10 kilomètres d’Imlil, un petit village du Haut-Atlas.
Les corps des deux victimes portaient des « traces de violence à l’arme blanche » sur le cou, selon les autorités marocaines.
« Situation chaotique »
Les autorités ont prévenu les parents des victimes dans leurs pays respectifs.
La victime danoise, Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, âgée de 24 ans, « s’est fait trancher la gorge », a affirmé sa mère Helle Petersen, citée par le journal danois B.T..
Sa famille lui avait déconseillée de se rendre au Maroc « à cause de la situation chaotique », a-t-elle précisé. Selon les informations de sa page Facebook, Louisa étudiait en Norvège pour être guide et était avide d’aventures.
L’autre victime était âgée de 28 ans, selon les médias marocains.

Un important dispositif de sécurité a été déployé dans la région d’Imlil après la découverte des corps et les randonnées ont été suspendues dans cette région montagneuse très touristique, selon les médias marocains.
Le tourisme est un secteur clef de l’économie marocaine, qui représente 10% de la richesse du pays et constitue son deuxième employeur après l’agriculture.
