Personne n’imagine manquer son propre mariage. Pourtant, Dorcas Atsea et Deborah Atoh, deux étudiantes en communication, ont été obligées de quitter la cérémonie de leurs mariages respectifs pour assister à un examen. 

Comme l’explique CNN, l’épreuve devait initialement se dérouler en février, mais a été déplacée en raison d’un manque d’infrastructure au sein de l’université.

Les deux jeunes Nigérianes, qui avaient toutes les deux choisi la même date pour célébrer leur mariage, ont d’abord tenté de faire déplacer l’examen, en vain.

 »Mon mariage était déjà fixé. J’avais déjà dit aux gens que c’était le 7 avril et envoyé des invitations, nous avons décidé de ne pas changer la date », a déclaré Deborah Atoh à CNN.

Après la cérémonie religieuse, les deux jeunes femmes se sont donc toutes les deux rendues à l’école pour passer leur examen, avant de retourner faire la fête avec leurs convives.
