En effet, Sidy Lamine Niass s’est toujours réclamé « voix des sans voix ». De nombreuses personnalités lui ont taillé ce manteau en lui rendant hommage.
Le fondateur de Wal fadjri est décédé à l’âge de 68 ans. Victime d’un arrêt cardiaque.
Son groupe de presse est né le 13 janvier 1984. Il comprend un quotidien d’information générale (Wal fadjri), une radio (Walf Fm), une chaîne de télé (Walf Tv) et un site internet (walf-groupe.net).
