Et ne parvient toujours pas les raisons qui l’ont poussé à se rapprocher de Serigne Saliou. « Mon compagnonnage avec Serigne Saliou restera toujours un mystère que personne ne pourra percer, à part le Seigneur », confie-t-il à ses disciplines, en marge de la rencontre de préparation du magal avec la presse à son résidence de Médinatoul Salam.
