Vainqueur de Mermoz (63-56) mercredi en quart de finale de la Coupe du Maire, le Dakar université club rejoint le tenant du trophée l’AS Douanes en demi-finale . finale de Coupe du Maire s’annonçait dès lors épique. Invaincu depuis l’entame de la saison, le Duc voulait confirmer son statut de favori, tandis que Mermoz devait se racheter pour essayer de sauver sa saison après avoir raté les play-offs et la Coupe du Saint-Michel. Pas question de se faire des largesses, si l’on veut s’ouvrir les portes des demi-finale s. finale ment (63-56) et vont croiser en demi-finale l’AS Douanes, victorieuse de la dernière édition. finale , l’ASFA fera face à l’USO, finaliste de la dernière édition. Les Militaires essaieront de décrocher leur première finale de la saison.
