Parmi les mis en cause, on compte trois Maliens dont Ould Muhammed Sina, soupçonné d’être lié à l’attaque du Grand-Bassam en Côte d’Ivoire. Les deux autres sont Ould Ame Sidalamine et Boubacar Niangara.
Face à la menace terroriste, le Sénégal a corsé son arsenal répressif. Il a modifié le Code de procédure pénale en y greffant des dispositions pertinentes contre le terrorisme. Exemple : la prolongation des délais de garde-à-vue.
Aussi, l’État a procédé à la réorganisation des services de secrets. L’Assemblée nationale a donné son feu vert et le Président Macky Sall a pris un décret promulguant la loi adoptée dans ce sens.
